The Fishpickers are a wild, old time, country-western, swing, hillbilly, blues, banjo-fiddle band based in Haines Alaska during the Alaska summer fishing season (May through August).
Playing locally in Haines during the fishing season at the Pioneer Bar in Haines and at the Southeast Alaska State Fair.

The Facilities
Fishing Vessel Rustler, halibut and salmon gillnet boat producing 200,000 - 500,000 pounds of wild Alaska salmon per summer season.
Beth's House, located at 3.5 mile Mud Bay Road includes almost 1/2 a mile of beach and woods with miscellaneous yurts and buildings ideal for weddings, hoedowns, retreats, etc. Facilities include house, pagoda, honeymoon yurt, meditation building, yoga yurt, shower building, tent sites...
The Hoedowns
Everyone is invited to the Thursday evening Hoedowns during the summer when the fishing boat is in town. Begins at 6:30pm and is officially a potluck, but seafood, beer and music abounds, 'till usually past dark (around midnight). Bring your instruments, lots of music and a good time is had by all.
